London Fashion Week , here i come !!!
Found out I will be helping out back stage for London fashion week ... It is going to be Amazing !!! Im going to be working with Todd Lynn...
Born in Canada, Todd graduated from the Central Saint Martins MA and has previously worked with Roland Mouret. he is well known for his Razor sharp androgynous tailoring ...
His clients include:
The Rolling Stones! - Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood.
Marilyn Manson
U2 - Bono and Adam Clayton;
Here is his fall 2012 ready to wear collection...
The key elements of the collection were strict suiting, architectural draping, and absurdly well-cut leathers; the suiting looked especially good, wide-leg trousers and pencil skirts paired with jackets that were circle-seamed or made with origami folds.

Competition Time ...!
I Recently got hand picked by Joanne Hynes to design a dress for The Gillette Venus Dress of your dreams Competition with five other finalists in Ireland, People from all over Ireland entered .This was an amazing opportunity for me and I was very happy my piece got chosen by an Irish Designer. This dress was made on the knit machine , but it was fully handmade, a lot of it had to be hand sewn as the dress was so delicate.

Coco Chanel ....
In my second semester we got to make a Channel Jacket, Which I loved ... Making the channel jacket was amazing ...We went to London to do Market research and to get Materials and Fabric for the Jacket. I feel I learned a lot from making the jacket as it was fully lined (which I hadn't done before) and had lots of seams.
Fully lined
Knit Happens ! ...
For our knit class we had a project to make a garment , i decided to
make a dress... I wanted fringing in it as I was in love with Mark
Fast's spring/ summer 2010 collection at the time , Obviously I'm not as
good as him but this is the dress I made...
I made up my own patterns as well for this dress using punch cards , we had to incorporate 3 different jacquard designs into the dress.
here it is in a verity of colors ....
We Also got to do a Photo shoot which was amazing ... here is a few of the shots i got of my dress

Shape up ! ...
This project was called shape up .. I'm not really into structured clothing so it was a difficult project for me to get my way of designing to change , but yet keep my own style true-out ... We had to make two two piece collections... With completely different themes...
A lot of work went into this as there was so much to do . i decided just to put up my favorite collection ... this one was based on octopus and under the ocean ... I wanted a real romantic soft look to it but yet still have shape .

Flower shirt
The first piece we had to make for construction was a Shirt, From this I learnt how to do collars cuffs and button holes. I wanted to make a chiffon shirt but it had to be cotton .... So I came across this really nice flower cotton fabric . i wantd baggy sleeves and a loose fit ...
I added a lace trim to keep with the romantic look , I felt it tied in well with the over all look
